Rowan Merewood is lead developer at Plusnet (http://www.plus.net), a Sheffield-based ISP now part of the BT Group. His work at Plusnet has given him extensive experience with the traditional LAMP stack and other open source technologies that support everything in the business from simple dynamic pages through to billing the entire customer base. Having come to PHP via Java and Python, Rowan has a passion for language independent tools such as web standards and test-driven development. Outside of work, he’s generally finding new ways to mess around with his N95 or watching trashy horror films.
