Michael Peacock is a senior PHP developer based in the North of England, co-running web design agency, Peacock Carter, and is involved in a number of web-app business concepts.

As well as developing for the web, Michael also writes about it, with 4 published books the first three (Building websites with TYPO3, Selling Online with Drupal e-Commerce, and Drupal 6 Social Networking), focusing on particular content management systems, the fourth (PHP 5 e-commerce development) going through the development of a bespoke e-commerce oriented framework resulting in a powerful e-commerce package. He is currently finalising his fifth book, PHP 5 Social Networking, which is due for publication later this year.

When he isn’t in front of the computer, Michael is actively involved in amatear dramatics, volunteering with Juniper Productions in Newcastle.
