Manchester Conference Centre

This year we are again holding our main event at Manchester Conference Centre, a brilliant venue right in the heart of the city. Its within easy reach of the mainline train stations and within walking distance of all the city centre attractions and hotels. The venue has wifi and the set up will feature a main room to accommodate all attendees with additional space for a second track of talks. We’ll also have space for exhibitors and community groups, and refreshments and lunch will appear throughout the day. The venue even has a hotel attached – for more information see their website: http://www.manchesterconferencecentre.co.uk/

Museum of Science & Industry

Museum of Science and Industry

As in previous years there will be a less formal, community driven, second half day conference, which will be held at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) where there will be chance for delegates to get together and put into practice some of what they have learned on the main day.

The museum is much more than a conference venue, as it is full of exhibits that will enthuse those with a technical persuasion.

Bar Ça

The pre-conference social has been confirmed to be at Bar Ça in Castlefield.

An established location on the Castlefield drinking scene, the venue serves food till 10pm which is ideal for the hungry travellers amongst us. It is also seconds away from the Sunday venue, MOSI. Information on the venue, their beverages and food menus can all be found on their website : http://www.barca-manchester.co.uk/

We will be congregating in the Wilson Suite from 6.30pm onwards and look forward to seeing you all there!
