Social 
In keeping with what has now become a tradition, there will be a pre-conference social for delegates starting from 7pm on Friday 7th, at Kro Picadilly. At the same time, the conference speakers will be meeting for a pre-conference dinner and they generally join the delegates afterwards for the remainder of the social event!
Friday Night : Pre Conference 
This is the ideal time for delegates to meet old friends and find many new ones before the conference.
Being less than 200 metres away from the main conference venue, the Kro Piccadilly seems like the perfect meeting point. Situated in the heart of Manchester, it is ideal no matter which of the local hotels you are staying at or how you are travelling into the city.

- Free WiFi.
- Serving bar & restaurant food till 10pm.
- Drinks menu is online.
- We will be setting up a Wii console again this year, feel free to bring your controllers or any specific games you want to play! (We will no doubt at least have Mario Kart and a few others with us.)

Saturday Night : Mid Conference
After a day of heavy learning / working there is nothing better than letting loose. The Saturday Social will be held within the conference venue. The evening meal will be served in the Arts Grill Restaurant whilst the open bar will be at the International Suite. Both are located on the third floor of the Ramada Hotel.
Please remember that although the Saturday Social is included in the ticket price, you will need to have also booked an evening social ticket for head count reasons. If you have any issues or questions, please contact the conference team.
