Rasmus Lerdorf
Rasmus Lerdorf is known for getting the PHP project off the ground in 1995. He has also contributed to several other open source projects over the years. Rasmus worked as an Infrastructure Architect at Yahoo! for more than 7 years and then joined Etsy in 2012. Rasmus was born in Greenland and grew up in Denmark and Canada. He has a Systems Design engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and you can follow him @rasmus on Twitter.
