Enrico Zimuel has been a Software Engineer since 1996 and works as the Senior PHP Engineer at Zend Technologies in the Zend Framework Core Team. He has been a Research Programmer at the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam and has been a speaker at many conferences regarding PHP and IT security since 2000. He is the author of many articles and books about applied cryptography and web programming. Enrico holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University “G.D’Annunzio” of Pescara, Italy.

Zend Framework 2 : State Of The Art

In this talk Enrico will present the “state of the art” of the Zend Framework 2 project. We will discuss the new architecture, the new features, the performance improvement and the new classes of the 2.0 release.

Moreover, we will discuss the differences between ZF1 and ZF2 and how to migrate a ZF1 project to the new version.
