Announcing PHPNW12 Unconference

We are delighted to announce the details of the PHPNW12 Unconference! This year, John Le Drew will be our uncon Host and Chair.

Lightning Talks

Each talk is 20 minutes in length with 5 minutes for Q&A. If you would like to speak at the Uncon, submissions should be made to John as early as possible on the Saturday morning. Lightning talks are a great way to get started if you’ve never done any public speaking before. It’s only 20 minutes, so you can do it!

Speed Geeking

The last hour of the day will be reserved for Speed Geeking. Read more about how it work on the Unconference page. Let’s just say if you’re intimidated by 20 minutes, this is your opportunity to give the same 5 minute talk 8 times. You can talk about your open source project, or why your dog is the best dog in the world. It doesn’t matter. Interested parties should send an email to uncon@phpnw.org.uk. We are very excited about the PHPNW12 Unconference because it will be a fast-paced and fun place to hang out.

Tickets

Whether lightning talks and speed geeking are your thing or not, don’t forget to book your conference tickets to see a great schedule of speakers over Saturday and Sunday.

Following the success of the last years Tutorial Day, we are offering individuals and teams of PHP Developers the opportunity to come together for a full day of hands on teaching. Come on your own or bring your team, spend a day with some of the most experienced developers, speakers and experts who will take you on a journey through the advanced areas of their topics.

This is your exclusive opportunity to ask the experts your specific questions relating to you and or your team and its projects.
