Community Counts!
02/10/12
One of the great things about PHP is the vibrant community that has created. There are many user groups not only in this country, but around the world. PHPNW12 is a conference organised by the local PHP user group PHPNW, which formed in 2008.
It is a great pleasure to see there are many other user groups attending the conference once again this year and that the community will come together to learn about the new innovation and techniques in PHP.
In attendance this year, will be user groups from across the UK including: PHP Leeds, North West Drupal User Group, PHP Women, PHP East Midlands, PHP London and we’re even seeing PHPNE bringing a minibus from Newcastle! We are delighted to learn we also have delegates coming from the international user groups such as PHP Benelux and key people from within the PHP community including: Rob Allen, Derick Rethans and Lorna Mitchell giving tutorial day workshops on the Friday.
One great thing about community conferences is that we have a prize ticket exchange going on. PHPNW12 will be giving away 5 tickets to other conferences such as: PHP Benelux in Antwerp, DPC in Amsterdam and PHP UK in London. Make sure you find out the fun ways we have to win tickets at the Conference.
This is such an important part of what makes PHP what it is, and we at PHPNW are proud to be a little part of this great community!
