Conference Videos!

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

We think that the calibre of our speakers and quality of the topics demands that we should again video record the conference sessions on both the Saturday and the Sunday. The 2008 and 2009 videos are available to whet your appetite for this years conference.

Videoing the conferences is more than just recording history as it will give both those who have had the privilege of attending, and those who couldn’t make it, more time to study and review what we feel sure will have been a very informative conference.

The conference has been made possible by the generosity of our sponsors and the videoing is supported by facebook all of which contributes the PHPNW being one of the best Regional conferences around!

Nearly a Full House!!

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

The take up of tickets for the 2010 conference has already far exceeded either of the previous two years conferences!

We’ve had a number of block bookings recently and we’re expecting some more! The conference venue holds 280 and we’re nearly there!

If you intend coming to the conference and have not got round to booking your ticket yet, we suggest that you do it very soon as the availability is dwindling fast and we wouldn’t want you to be disappointed!

The old saying applies “when they’ve gone, they’ve gone.” Only 101 shopping days to Christmas and 24 days to the conference start!

Hope to see you there!

Why PHPNW10 is Appropriate for Students

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

PHPNW is primarily a conference aimed at professionals within the industry to allow them to learn from each other, and discover new ideas and techniques which they can then apply to their every day work. What is less prominent is how this is equally as useful for students, who may want to work in this same area once they have graduated.

Logos and linking

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

One of the key things that has helped make the last two years conference a success is the promotional activity done by you the attendees. So as the phpnw10 conference approaches, one thing we’d love you to do is help us promote it.

An excellent way to do this is to place one of these logos on your site and link to us at http://conference.phpnw.org.uk/phpnw10/.

You can either download the logos and host them on your own web space (as long as they’re only used for linking back to us) or just cut’n’paste the code below the images into your site.
